Reading the workflow

Browser evidence, not switch measurement

The tool reuses the site's conservative chatter sequence and NKRO peak. It cannot measure actuation force, physical travel, firmware debounce values, hardware polling rate, or real electrical latency.

Mechanical switch chatter

Possible chatter is shown only when a very short completed down–up cycle is followed almost immediately by another non-repeat keydown. Fast intentional taps with ordinary press or release timing and held-key repeats are not automatically labeled chatter.

Stabilized keys

Space, Enter, and Shift often use stabilizers. Uneven feel, rattle, or binding is mechanical information the browser cannot inspect; this page can only show whether key events arrive.

Hot-swap and soldered boards

Hot-swap boards may allow manufacturer-approved switch replacement, while soldered boards generally require skilled service. Do not disassemble powered hardware or rely on this page as a repair instruction.

Firmware and remapping

Layers, macros, debounce settings, accessibility features, and remapping software can change what applications receive. Save configuration before changing it and prefer documented vendor procedures.

NKRO and anti-ghosting

The peak is the most simultaneous key positions this browser observed in this session. It is not a certification of the board's advertised rollover and may vary by connection, combination, browser, or operating system.

Safe troubleshooting and privacy

Retry the same switch normally, compare another port or computer, and follow the maker's cleaning guidance. Raw events, timings, selected keys, and combinations remain temporary and are not stored or sent.
